Ways to Take Care of laptops Battery

Battery is the main organ of any laptop. Some times I thought that it is also a human as it also feels many things like human beings. If you keep that in any hot environment then it is harmful for it as it will become warm. If you left it with full charge then it can be under utilized. When you run it empty then it become over used. If you keep that in good environment then it gives a best and cooling effect to laptop. But the laptop battery requires maintenance and if you don’t do that then it will turn battery to its weak condition.

Here are some precautions for better life time of your laptop battery and for better function.

  1. You have to avoid the chilliest or hot environment. This can moisture your laptop and it makes the age of battery short time. It also causes its chemicals to leak out. In this way your laptop battery will not only be busted but also you are exposing many chemicals on its motherboard. You don’t have need to place your laptop on any cool place but keep that in a moderate environment. If you want to extend the life of your laptop battery keep it in a good place.
  2. Keep your laptop in a safe case. Try to save it from dust and other damages. You can purchase a CD Case for your laptop.
  3. Another mistake which many laptop owners make is that they leave a charger to the laptop while laptop is turned off.
  4. Do not touch your laptop LCD screen. When you shut it down make it sure that when you are closing it, you have hold it with both hands. Take very good care of your monitor as its repairing is not a cheap thing.
  5. Shut down your laptop and put it on sleep when you take that to any other place which is far away from your existing place. Don’t walk with your laptop as it has a risk of damaging hard drive.
  6. If you want to extend the battery life of your laptop then defragment you laptop hard drive on regular basis. But do not defragment it while battery is on. Fragmentation is better handled on Mac operating systems so it will not apply on Apple systems.
  7. You have to prevent the memory effects if your laptop is too old. It will keep its battery healthy.
  8. Every time you should go to power options of your laptop control panel and set this option. Power use will set to max battery. It will save the maximum power of your battery.
  9. Try to add more ram it will increase the processing capacity of your laptop memory. So you will not have needed to rely on virtual memory.

So the above are some important ways for taking a good care of your laptop and making its battery more efficient.
